The Department of English is committed to developing students’ proficiency in the English language and enhancing their academic, professional, creative, and communicative abilities. The Department strives to enable students to acquire effective communication skills and use English as a means of fostering meaningful interpersonal relationships, mutual understanding, social harmony, and responsible global citizenship.

The Department aims to create a learner-friendly academic environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, effective communication, human values, and a lifelong interest in language and literature.
